Three years ago, I painted the picture “Ukraine Commemorates the 86th Anniversary of the Holodomor. Millions of Ukrainians were starved to death. This is a human tragedy caused by the former Soviet Union government! We must always remember that the human right to exist is paramount. On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, much to the outrage of peace-loving people around the world. The actions of the Ukrainian people bravely resisting the aggressors, and defending their freedom and dreams, have inspired and moved me. Victory must belong to the glorious Ukrainian people! God bless Ukraine!

From the first days, Chinese intellectuals, professors, and writers condemned Russia’s invasion. It is possible that their voice is not as strong as we would like, but, as the Chinese themselves say, «the great river flows quietly». Well, in this case – slowly. But it flows. Victory for us, including on the information front.
